Dr Claudio Benghi

Assistant Professor

Department: Architecture and Built Environment

Claudio Benghi

Claudio studied as an architect at Politecnico di Milano in Italy because of his fascination with composition and complexity in the built environment. In time, expanding his interest in the area of information sciences, he has discovered the freedom and beauty of theoretical models, developing his career in the realm of information tools and technologies for the built environment, architecture, engineering and construction.

His PhD research investigated the issues of interoperability for construction and defined a strategy to promote the uptake of networked service solutions to support it.
