Dr Ozge Dilaver

Assistant Professor

Department: Newcastle Business School

Dr Dilaver studies innovation and mobility as important aspects of agency. She is interested in understanding the ways technology adoption and mobility influence identity narratives, social change and built environments. She uses interdisciplinary research approaches for representing social construction of reality in the computational models of social complexity. Her research aims to understand perspectives of individuals who have direct experiences of complex social phenomena. She then represents the contexts and interactions described in these perspectives in her agent-based social simulation models.
