Dr Michael Kelly

Assistant Professor

Department: Sport, Exercise and Rehabilitation

HLS Michael Kelly 255 (1) I predominantly teach within musculoskeletal modules, therefore cover topics such as assessment, pain, exercise prescription, manual therapy and research methods. I also supervise dissertations and support students through clinical placements. I have a particular interest in exercise, pain and musculoskeletal conditions. 

I started working at Northumbria in 2015, after working predominantly in the North East and London as a Senior MSK Physiotherapist. I have worked in NHS GP practices, occupational health, private clinics and within sport.
