Academic Congregations Summer 2025
The next Newcastle congregations will take place between Thursday 10 July to Wednesday 16 July 2025. Invitations will be sent out in mid-March.
Deferring your ceremony if you cannot attend
If you cannot attend your congregation ceremony for personal reasons, you can apply for deferral. Once you have received your invitation, you can opt to attend a future ceremony by completing the Deferral Application Form. Please note if you wish to attend a Congregation, you must attend within one year of being awarded. You should apply for deferral before the date of your original ceremony, any deferral applications submitted retrospectively will not be considered.
