The LEGO®銆€SERIOUS PLAY®銆€Method helps every member of a team engage in problem solving and decision making, focusing on issues that have been pre-selected for their relevance and importance. The Method encourages participants to listen and learn, and provides a shared language regardless of culture or hierarchical position.
The Method is based on research which shows that this kind of hands-on, minds-on learning produces a deeper, more meaningful experience. The University’s facilitators are experienced and certified practitioners.
While the workshops are fun, the outcomes are serious: improved communication, better understanding, increased participation and better engagement. The workshops are suitable for teams from all private, public or third sector organisations that are looking to enhance their performance.
Options for workshops include a full day, half day, or taster session. Typically there are 8–12 people at each workshop. Please contact us for further information regarding fees, dates and locations.

听
The LEGO庐 SERIOUS PLAY庐 Method is a process in which participants are led through a series of questions, probing deeper and deeper into the pre-selected subject. Each participant builds his or her own 3D LEGO庐 model in response to the facilitator's questions using specially selected LEGO庐 elements.
As you build models, you will give them meaning through story-making and playing out various possible scenarios 鈥 a process which deepens understanding, sharpens insight, and socially "bonds" together the group as it "plays" together. You will explore relationships and connections, consider various hypothetical scenarios, and gain awareness of the possibilities.
The physical and tangible construction allows you to have conversations which flow without the fear of treading on personal feelings. As real issues are addressed, you will increasingly be able to see things through the eyes of your colleagues 鈥 and have them view the picture through yours.
听
The LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® Method is a technique which utilises visual, auditory and kinaesthetic skills and improves group problem solving. The issues addressed by each workshop will vary according to the needs of your team.
There are no formal requirements. The facilitator will identify intended outcomes before each workshop to maximise relevance and value.
